today i am going to talk to you about 2 unusual laws in england.

so to begin
with my project i will talk about the description of england. England is a country
that is part of the United Kingdom. It shares land borders with Scotland to the
north and Wales to the west. The Irish Sea lies northwest of England and the
Celtic Sea lies to the southwest. England is separated from continental Europe
by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south.

With over 53 million inhabitants, England is by far the most populous country of
the United Kingdom. The English people are a British people. . the basic
political system in England is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary
system. Today England is governed directly by the Parliament of the United
Kingdom. The established religion in England is the Anglican Church of England,
a denomination of Christianity headed by the Queen and with special position
within the Constitution. Other Christian traditions include Roman Catholicism,
Methodism, and the Baptists.

lets move on to the 2 unusual laws in england, the first law is "Shoot the
Welsh" and the second "It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament".

It is often said that there an old law in Chester that if a welshman is within the
city walls after midnight a englishman can shoot him with a bow and arrow.
This "law" about the Welsh has been the subject of much discussion, but
tracing its possible origins leads to a history rather different than many people
imagine. during 18th century on the borderline between england and wales
the englishmen was allowed to kill a Welsh whom were suspects about stealing
english trade. This law is very damaging to the Welsh, many prefer not to go to
chester for fear.

by the other hand Britain apparently has many pretty ludicrous laws. because
the second law is that You cant die in the House of Parliament, because it is a
royal palace. Anyone who would die there is entitled to a state funeral. If they
notice you are a bit sick, they carry you out of the building immediately.
Experts say that the law that prohibits people from dying while in the Houses of
Parliament is actually a misunderstanding of a genuinely anachronistic law still
on the statute books.

certainly are quite strange laws. I think they are urban myths of the country,
the first law is impossible at the modern times and the second law seems
illogical because if someone dies He can not be punished because he is dead.
