    Lauren Nakaso was observed teaching a dance lesson to 4th and 5th graders. She provided feedback to the whole class on proper dance technique like form and staying in bounds. When a student was hit accidentally, she addressed the incident calmly before moving on. Later she reminded all students to tag gently with two fingers only. Throughout the lesson she checked for understanding by asking students to demonstrate dance steps and counted moves. The total observation time was 28-30 minutes.
