EATING A MARSHMALLOW:
What can I say about that marvelous marshmallow I devoured during that ice cold
Communicative Competence class? At a first sight, it seemed to be an immaculate,
pink, angel toe. I particularly remember its softness and its rough and sticky
texture; it was as smooth as touching an ear lobe and relieving as when you
squeeze a stressing ball. While I was dividing it in two parts, it looked like a melted
chewing gum and ended up resembling a tutti-frutti ice cream. When I pressed it
near my ears, it sounded like separating Velcro from a fabric surface. Its inside
reminded me of a brand new, artificial sponge and smelled like caramel with a
mouthwatering, sweet, bubbling flavor. The whole experience was like going back
to the Garden of Eden for an instant that will remain forever.
