This letter serves as my strong recommendation for Matthew Tallent. It
was my pleasure to have Matthew work for me as an intern at the Philadelphia
Zoo during the summer of 2015. While with the Zoo, he logged over 314
volunteer hours. Since day one Matthew proved himself a dedicated and
responsible employee. His passion and leadership helped build a strong team
which allowed us to deliver an excellent guest experience and advance the
Zoos conservation mission.
During his time with the Philadelphia Zoo, Matthew helped us educate
thousands of guests about animals and the Zoos many conservation missions.
He possesses a strong and confident presence with guests, even on the busiest
days, that I am certain will continue to serve him well in the future. Matthew
was organized and well prepared to handle all guest situations and create
engaging experiences for all who visited the Philadelphia Zoo. He also
completed an animal behavior project allowing him to practice his data
collection techniques.
In addition to his great work ethic, Matthew brings a wonderful
positive attitude that is a delight to everyone around him. On the long hot days
of July and August, his bright attitude went a long way to help to keep the
team motivated.
I have full faith that Matthew will shine in whatever future endeavor
he undertakes. It is for this reason I highly recommend Matthew Tallent.
