Spanish 1, Leccin Preliminar

End of the Unit Assessment: Group Skit

Instructions: It is the first day of school. In a collaborative group of 4 students (your

teacher will assign you to a group), create a conversational skit in which you will use the
language you have learned in Spanish class so far. One person in the group will play the
role of a teacher and the others will play the role of students. Use formal and informal
language appropriately. Each person in the group should have a minimum of 6 lines of
speech. Every person in the group must prepare a script of the conversation that
includes everyones lines. Highlight your lines on your paper. When your rough draft is
finished, have the teacher check it for errors, then write or type a final draft.
Requirements:
1. Everyone has a minimum of 6 lines of speech.
2. Speak in Spanish
3. Use formal and informal language appropriately
3. Speak loud and clear
4. Include the following in your skit:
o greet each other and introduce yourselves
o ask how someone is feeling
o introduce a friend to someone
o say where you are from
o talk about the weather
o exchange phone numbers
o use some of the Other Words and Phrases from your vocabulary list
o reply appropriately to the questions of others
o say goodbye
5. Memorize as much as you can before the presentation date.
Once the scripts are completed and checked by the teacher, we will be practicing in class
a lot, so try to memorize as much as you can. You may use your paper to refer to if
needed during your presentation, however, do not hide behind your paper. Make sure to
make eye contact with the members of your group as you speak to them.
