THE BAHAMAS
There are so many countries I could have chosen to research; however, I have always
been interested in visiting the Bahamas . Also I choose this country because it is very beautiful
and it has one of the best and biggest water parks called Atlantis .another reason is because the
Bahamas they speak the same language as us in the united states .

GOVERNMENT
There government is The Cabinet constitutes the executive branch and has general direction and
control of the Government of The Bahamas. It is necessary for the Cabinet to comprise at least nine Ministers
inclusive of the Prime Minister and Attorney General.
As a member of the Commonwealth of Nations The Bahamas recognizes Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as Head of
State. The Governor-General is Her Majestys representative in The Bahamas and constitutes a symbol of the
nations unity.

LOCATIONThe Bahamas is a coral-based archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, comprising 700 islands and cays
that range from uninhabited to resort-packed. Also

it is a Country in the Caribbean

CURRENCYThe currency of the Bahamas is the

Bahamian dollar

TOURISMIf visitors were to visit the Bahamas they could visit Atlantis the biggest
water park in the Bahamas

FLAGThe Bahamas flag is blue and yellow, and it has a black triangle. also the
flag has three stripes . There flag is the most unique flag that I' ve seen
POPULATIONThe population of the Bahamas is 384 ,808
LANGUAGEThey speak English, just as we do
CULTURE- (style of dress/religion)
The Bahamas has a distinctive culture which has evolved over generations, from
a mixture of mostly African, combined with some British colonial and American
influences, to a unique and colorful style of Bahamian self-expression.

FOODThe type food of that the Bahamians eat is seafood such as fish, shellfish,
lobster, crab, and ,conch, as well as tropical fruits, rice, peas, pigeon peas, potatoes,
and pork.

Bahamas Laws On-Line is a database of the consolidated text of the statutes and
subsidiary legislation of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas as at 31st December, 2009. The
site also contains most of the statutes enacted and subsidiary legislation made from January,
2010 to December, 2014. The site however does not contain Acts which are not in force.

Along with the actual report, you are to create a vivid and exciting slide show. The
slideshow should have a few facts that were discussed in your paper along with a lot of
beautiful pictures of your country.-

Along with your paper and slideshow, you are to prepare or purchase a dish (food item)
that is relevant to your chosen country. Be prepared to discuss how your chosen dish
relates to your country. We will have a festival celebrating all of the countries
represented during the presentations.-

The last portion of this project-create an informative poster with information and pictures
about your country OR dress in something that is relevant to your chosen country.
