Etiology

Mechanical factors are the most causes for Low Back Pain.
Examples:
Sprains and strains

Sprains are caused by excessive stretching or tearing of the ligaments.


Strains are caused by tearing of a tendon or a muscle.
Both sprain and strain can occured in the same time.
This movements can also cause the spasm of waist muscle that causes pain:
- Twisting
- Lifting heavy items by not doing it in the right way
- Overstretching.

Etiology
Spondylosis
Spondylosis is caused by degeneration of the spine, the vertebral discs and
joints that caused by aging factor.
The verterbal discs is the one which maintaining our body height and make us
can bent, flex and rotate the lower back.

The herniation or rupture of the vertebral discs.


Radiculopathy
Radiculopathy caused by inflammation or injury of the Radix. The tension on the
nerve roots can caused pain, numbness or tingling sensation that spread to
other parts of the body that are innervated by that nerve. Radiculopathy can
occur when there are spinal canal stenosis or a herniated disc that pressed the
nerve roots.
