ORDER
Plaintiffs Defense Distributed and the Second Amendment Foundation, Inc., have moved
this Court to stay further proceedings in this matter until after a decision from the United States
Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Plaintiffs pending interlocutory appeal of this Courts
Order of August 3, 2015, denying Plaintiffs motion for a preliminary injunction. Defendants
oppose a stay of all proceedings.
After full consideration of the parties respective filings, Plaintiffs motion is GRANTED
IN PART. Any requirement that the parties participate in discovery or submit a discovery plan,
see Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(f), or proposed scheduling order, see Local Rule CV-16, is hereby
STAYED pending further order of this Court.
In all other respects, Plaintiffs motion is DENIED. Plaintiffs will submit any response to
the Individual Defendants Renewed Motion To Dismiss by October 16, 2015.
Plaintiffs request for expedited briefing on their motion to stay is DENIED AS MOOT.
