To
Our
Stakeholders
The
past
year
has
been
tremendously
exciting
for
The
Oxford
Strategy
Group.
We
have
solved
interesting
challenges
and
presented
our
tailored
solutions
to
diverse
clients,
including
large
corporates
across
industries,
consultancies,
start-ups
and
social
enterprises.
Most
importantly,
we
had
a
great
time
and
learned
a
lot
in
the
process.
We
are
still
a
very
young
organisation,
but
I
believe
we
have
plenty
of
reasons
to
be
optimistic
about
OSGs
potential
to
deliver
on
our
mission:
to
be
a
platform
for
visionary
students
to
gain
meaningful,
real-world
experience
in
a
diverse
and
supportive
environment.
Internal
Development-
First
of
all,
the
number
of
applicants
for
consultant
positions
has
grown
tremendously,
which
allows
us
to
carefully
handpick
the
most
committed
and
creative
team
players.
This
is,
as
you
all
know,
the
backbone
of
the
organisation.
Challenging
real-world
projects-
Secondly,
the
dedicated
work
of
previous
generations
of
OSGers
is
starting
to
pay
off:
as
our
portfolio
of
successful
projects
grows
with
time,
it
has
become
easier
to
find
projects
this
year,
which
has
given
us
more
freedom
to
choose
only
projects
that
yield
the
most
value
for
our
consultants.
Creating
a
learning
ecosystem-
Thirdly,
we
have
made
an
effort
to
ensure
that,
as
we
mature,
OSG
remains
as
a
learning
ecosystem
where
the
teams
meet
up
not
only
to
discuss
projects,
but
also
learn
consulting
skills
in
a
structured
way.
Specifically,
we
have
started
the
OSG
Academy
in
cooperation
with
the
Careers
Service
and
OSG
alumni
to
allow
our
people
to
learn
essential
skills
from
more
experienced
consultants.
Further,
as
our
alumni
group
grows,
there
is
a
lot
of
potential
value
to
be
harnessed
in
terms
of
lasting
friendships,
as
well
as
input
on
the
direction
of
the
organisation.
However,
much
work
still
needs
to
be
done
in
both
areas
in
the
coming
year.
Forging
external
collaborations-
Lastly,
we
will
be
launching
exciting
initiatives
with
external
organisations.
In
the
upcoming
Michaelmas
Term
we
will
be
hosting
a
case
competition
together
with
Boston
Consulting
Group,
which
will
hopefully
be
the
start
of
a
partnership
that
could
pay
off
in
a
number
of
different
ways.
Further,
we
have
just
started
to
make
revenues
from
corporate
client
projects.
Starting
this
fall,
we
plan
to
donate
the
money
to
fund
charitable
causes

competition,
where
our
consultants
will
work
together
with
the
selected
social
enterprise
to
come
up
with
creative
suggestions.
Although
all
of
the
above
points
give
reason
for
optimism,
this
is
not
the
time
to
lay
back
and
be
contented
with
what
has
been
achieved
over
the
past
few
years.
It
is
not
easy
to
maintain
the
entrepreneurial
spirit
of
a
newly
started
society
as
routines
emerge,
but
I
believe
that
OSG
is
at
its
best
precisely
when
it
acts
as
a
platform
for
ambitious
ideas
and
initiatives
rather
than
as
a
mere
structure
for
real
world
business
experience.
I
look
forward
to
contributing
to
shaping
the
future
of
OSG
over
the
coming
terms,
and
I
am
absolutely
confident
that

OSG
is
a
great
place
to
gain
hands-on
experience
in
consulting
as
well
as
building
a
network
of
like
minded
people.
During
my
time
at
OSG,
I
really
enjoyed
the
opportunity
to
work
with
C-Level
clients,
to
meet
with
extremely
diverse
and
intelligent
fellow
consultants,
and
to
attend
many
OSG

career
events.

OSG
has
been
a
great
experience
that
has
given
me
an
insight
into
consulting
and
the
world
of
business
in
general.
Through
my
two
projects
and
my
leadership
roles
within
OSG,
I
honed
my
skills
in
qualitative
and
quantitative
analysis,
teamwork
and
leadership,
while
also
enjoying
myself
and
making
lots
of
friends
along
the
way!
I
feel
that
my
experience
in
OSG
was
really
helpful
in
preparing
me
