Generosity! O.k. Smarty, how many
2 Cor. 9:6-13 coins can you count?
One of the scariest things adults face is the
command from God that says to be
generous. Generosity is scary because we
are taught by the world to hold on to our
money because we need it to survive. God
wants us to depend on Him. We shouldn’t
depend on money. God promises to supply
all of our needs. In exchange for that
promise, we are to give 10% of our money
back to him. God loves a cheerful giver and
gives generously to those who give
generously. Maybe the kids of the world can
be good examples of giving to their parents!

Remember this: Whoever

sows sparingly will also
reap sparingly, and
whoever sows generously
will also reap generously.
