    Sub: Greasing of ER clips on PSC sleepers.

    In amplification of Para 1411(5)(b) of IRPWM 1986, following additional instructions
    are issued in regard to greasing of ER clips.
    In service Greasing of ER clips shall be carried out
    1) During through fastening renewal
    2) During distressing operations and
    3) At a frequency of once in a year in corrosion prone areas and once in two years in
    other areas.
    Progress of greasing of ERC may be given in the monthly PCDO/MCDO to Chief
    Engineer.
