Ottawa opens doors to renewable energy facilities during Green Energy Doors Open

OTTAWA Media and the public are invited to attend the launch event of the fourth annual Green Energy
Doors Open (GEDO) on Saturday, Oct. 3. Ottawa City Councillors David Chernushenko and Riley
Brockington, as well as several local federal political candidates and politicians, will be in attendance to
mark the occasion. Spearheaded by the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA), the initiative
aims to showcase advancements in the renewable energy sector, demonstrating that Ontario is already
on the path to building a 100 per cent clean, sustainable energy system. Media and the public are also
invited to tour one of the many facilities participating in this years event in the afternoon.
