Leaves found on site, thread, text, paper.
The leaves re-wrap the trees. Tidal lines, backwards wave sounds make this an action in reverse.

cleansing takes place.

14) Ben Newell A Pilgrims Fabric - A Discursive Historical Poem (Intertwined with the hid
den entities of a past history)
The Mayflower pubs stands on the site of The Shippe pub that dates back to around 1550. It was close
to where the Mayflower ship was fitted out for the long transatlantic voyage of the Pilgrims in 1620 to
America. A historical lesson come poem come anecdote.

Cross over the pelican crossing


Continue straight forward along the path,
Past the playgroundcontinue.
Turn right; past the basketball court,
along Scott Lidgett Crescent.
Continue straight ahead on Janeway Street,
until you reach Emba Street.
Turn left on Emba Street.
Turn right (opposite the school) along Farncombe Street.
At the Old Justice pub, walk straight ahead to the waterfront.
Turning right, walk along the Thames path.
There is a concourse overlooking the river.
Climb down the steps and onto the beach.
Look right.
Look left.
Walk left, along the shore.
Continue along until you reach the pier timbers
Head back, up the steps and onto the concourse again.
Turn left in the direction of canary wharf,
walking along the river path,
past the trees.
Continue, along the Thames path, through Cherry Gardens.
Follow Thames path through Cornets Wharf,
past The Angel pub.
Remain along the riverside,
walking through the covered walkway.
At the end of the walkway, bear right and turn left along
the cobbled Rotherhithe Street.
Visit the garden of St Marys Church as you pass.
Continue to the Mayflower Pub for a story and a pint.
