FABRICATION OF TIN CRUSHER

SYNOPSIS;

This tin crusher machine can be moved anywhere near the job
and can fitted on the job. This eliminates the risk of carrying the job
to the machine table.
This unit is driven by 12VDC. motor with built in speed
reduction gear drive. A belt drive is used to transmits this speed of
the machine.
This rotary motion is converted to reciprocating motion through
the crank and connecting rod mechanism. This enables the slide to
get the reciprocation motion having a stroke length of 50 mm.
The crushing plate is screwed to the slider at the bottom edge
in our project.

Initially the job or item to be crushed is placed in the machine unit . Then
press the start switch. The DC Motor starts rotating . The rotary motion of the
Motor shaft is converted to reciprocating motion by the crank mechanism.

The crusher plate is connected to this reciprocating unit. Hence the plate
moves to and fro and thus crush the tin and fall into the bottom .
