Platonism is pragmatism

From www.iep.utm.edu/pragmati/
" Pragmatism is a philosophical movement that includes those who claim that an ideology or
proposition is true [in the pragmatic sense] if it works satisfactorily, that the meaning of a proposition
is to be found in the practical consequences of accepting it, and that unpractical ideas are to be
rejected."
Since in platonism, all things are caused by the One, whatever happens is always true, simply because
the One caused it.
Some philosophers such as Rorty dismissed platonism because of it essentialism, which seems to be
Rorty's prejudice. But in platonism, everything is true and consistent because the One caused it.
