Hello Parents and Guardians!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As the school year flies past I would like to take the opportunity to
introduce myself before I arrive. My name is Laura Gavin and I will be a
student teacher in your son/daughters Year 2 classroom. I am currently
in my fourth year studying my Bachelors Degree in Primary Education at
the University of the Sunshine Coast and Im very excited to be heading
to Barcaldine State School in Term 4. I will be in the classroom working
with Sherelle Shields and Angela Rafter from week 2 of Term 4 for the
following 4 weeks. Im looking forward to getting to know you and your
child in the upcoming weeks. Although it is only a short visit, we will have
many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the
days ahead.
