Hello, my name is Savannah Porter and I will be your History
teacher this year. I attended the University of Fort Smith after transferring there from National Park Community College. I'm originally from Glenwood, Arkansas which is forty five minutes west of Hot Springs. I love everything about history and hope to spread my enthusiasm for it to all my students. August 6, 1945 - The first Atomic Bomb was dropped over the center of Hiroshima at 8:15 a.m., by the American B-29 bomber Enola Gay. August 9, 1974 - Effective at noon, Richard M.
