RWS Assignment #3

The topic that I chose for this assignment is gun control. I chose this topic because
there has been a lot of controversy over gun rights and I strongly believe that the second
amendment to bear arms should never be taken away from people. This topic will help
me and my peers be more aware of laws regarding to gun control such as knowing your
basic gun rights, laws that concern the process in owning a gun, and the types of guns
that are allowed. This topic will contribute to my growth as a student by knowing how to
go about owning a gun and the rights that we have to follow so that if I ever come across
these scenarios we will know what to do and what not to do. Researching this topic will
also allow me to contribute to discourse communities that involve guns by knowing more
about the rights and types of guns that are allowed and not allowed like handguns,
machine guns, etc.
