Re: Peer Evaluation of Technical Description

During this assignment, it was quite challenging for me as a whole because of how broad the
subject matter was. Because of how many different approaches I could take with this assignment,
I found myself overthinking about what to actually write. I struggled with how to describe the
iPhone 4 in simple terms. What I also found challenging was that I did not know which
partitioning strategies to use to divide the functionalities of the object.

However, after the peer review and re-reading the concepts of a technical description, it was
easier for me to complete this assignment to my satisfaction. I realized that I was overthinking
the bulk of what I was trying to describe. I ended up partitioning the iPhone into what it is, what
it does, and why should you choose iPhone. I also utilized metaphors and provided simple
explanations to describe concepts that were more challenging to understand.

All in all, having someone else to proofread and peer revise my technical description was
extremely helpful. It really helped reassure that I was on the right track with my description, and
what I needed to describe better.
