Do Now: What do you think would happen if


everyone over the age of 14 suddenly disappeared from
the world?

In class we will begin to read Lord of the Flies


individually. Then, students will write a paragraph
describing the authors writing style and another
describing the characters. These paragraphs will
function as an exit ticket and will stay in the class
notebook.

Activity: As a whole class, we will discuss


what we learned today and how we will use these skills
in the future.

TUESDAY
(1C) Learning Target: Students will show their improved
skills in understanding multiple choice items by
generating their own items.
Do Now: What positive qualities are embodied in
adulthood? What about negative qualities?

In class students will complete two multiple choice items


based on their reading, using the AP question stem list.
WEDNESDAY

skills in essay writing by completing an FRQ timed
essay.
