What is a Parent/Teacher
Conference?
The Parent/Teacher Conference is
an opportunity for a students
parents or guardians to meet with a
teacher so that the greatest possible
cooperation can be developed
between the home and the school.
Cooperation and communication
will result in a better educational
environment for the student.
Together, the parents or guardians
and teacher can support each other
in helping the student to complete
the work required.
Parents should feel free to contact
the school for a special conference
whenever they are concerned about
any of the following areas:
the social, emotional or academic
growth of the student
conflicts between the learner and
teacher
future plans and direction for the
student

1. How does your child seem
to feel about school?
2. Which activities does your
child talk about at home?
3. Which activities seem to
stimulate your childs
intellectual growth?
4. How does your child spend
free time?
5. Is there anything that your
child dreads?
6. What are your childs
interests and hobbies?

have?
8. What kinds of support or
collaboration would you
like from the school to help
your family?
