Dear Parents,

We have been learning about 3-Dimensional shapes. In particular,

your child will need to be able to identify a sphere, cone, cube, and
cylinder. We have been finding all different kinds of 3-Dimensional
shapes within our classroom, theyre everywhere! You can help at home
by having your child look for objects in and around your house that are
3-Dimensional. Some examples are listed below.
Our class will be having a 3-Dimensional Treasure Day on
_________________________. Your child will need to bring in ONE
3-Dimensional object that he/she found around the house. Please send
the object in a ziplock bag clearly labeled with his/her name. No glass
or breakable objects please!
Thank you for your help. Happy 3-Dimensional treasure hunting!

Sincerely,
The Kindergarten Teachers
