Check Point Comments

Talking to George it is very evident that he is genuinely working towards fulfilling all of his PRT responsibilities. I have
encouraged him to transfer some of this head knowledge and reflection into hard-copy, summary/note evidence for the
purpose of PRT folder. I have highlighted just how important it will be to have evidence readily accessible and available come
Term 4 Final Checkpoint.

What I need to do to be on track for the next Check Point 3 in Term 4:

Continue to add to the RTCs making links with your current teaching practise and goals.
Inquiry 2015 Continue to develop inquiry.

Topic Chosen: George has made great progress as a dean. I think his focus for an inquiry topic will encompass certain
aspects of this role. He wants to focus on Pastorl Care. Comparing our systems to other schools in NZ and a comparison
with overseas schools.

Progress so far: Continuing to develop ideas and a focus queston.

PRT Goals Chosen from above information to keep on track:

Classroom management. Strategies, incorporates wait time more effectively this year.
Lookimg at NCEA 1. How to incorporate ideas/strategies into classrooms. Content is also important.
