Toucan

Appearance:
The colours of a toucan are (including
beak) black, white, yellow, blue, brown,
green and red.
Toucans range in heights of around17cm
to 62cm.
Toucans have long feather like tongues.
A toucan has two small, black eyes, a
long, sharp beak, a short, thick neck and
two two-toed feet.

Diet:

A toucans bill is used as a feeding tool.


Toucans eat insects, berries, seeds, lizards, bird
eggs, reptiles and more.

The birds use their beaks to reach fruit


on branches that are too small to support
their weight, and also to skin their
pickings.

Habitat:

Toucans live in the canopy of tropical


rainforests.
Toucans are native to Southern Mexico,
Central America, the northern portion of
South America, and the Caribbean region.

They generally live in tropical and subtropical regions.
