AIM:
To calibrate the given P-I converter.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. P-I converter.
2. 24v DC power supply.
PRE-REQUISTIES:
1. Ensure power supply connection. Note output of P-I converter that is measured in series
with power supply.
2. Ensure air supply connection.
PROCEDURE:
1. After making proper electrical and air connection switch or power supply. Note that LED
of P-I converter glows only when input air supply reaches 0.2kg/cm2.
2. Now increase input air to 0.2kg/cm2 and note down the output reading of PI converter. It
should be 4mA. If not adjust zero point to make it 4mA.
3. Now pressure is increased to 0.4, 0.6 ,0.8 and 1. Note down output reading. For 1kg/cm 2
output should be 5mA.
4. Do not adjust zero or span pot middle of any reading.

AIM:
To make a comparison between H2O in inclined tube and mm of H2O and to familiarize
with comparison of pressure measurement reading.
PRE-REQUISTIES:
1. Ensure proper pneumatic air connections.
2. Before starting experiment convert equivalent mm of H2O reading for calculation using
conversion table.
PROCEDURE:
1. After ensuring proper pneumatic connections apply pressure to water column.
2. Repeat same for various reading.

AIM:
The basic idea of experiment is how vacuum is being created and measured
1. Vacuum pump to create vacuum.
2. Vacuum gauge to measure vacuum.
PRE-REQUISTIES:
1. 230V AC supply for vacuum supply pump.
2. Proper tubing connection.
PROCEDURE:
1. Switch on power supply to vacuum pump and wait for 1min so that pump can develop
full vacuum.
2. After 1min see reading in vacuum gauge.
