    This document describes the fabrication of a motorized automatic door opening and closing system. An infrared sensor detects a person in front of the door and sends a signal to activate a 24V DC motor that opens the door using a leadscrew and nut mechanism connected to a sliding door. A 24V DC power supply provides power to the motor which is started using a switch and its rotation is converted to linear motion to open and close the door.

    FABRICATION OF MOTORISED AUTOMATIC DOOR

    OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEM


    SYNOPSIS
    This unit consists of DC Motor 24V DC, Power supply 24V DC,
    Leadscrew and nut mechanism, and a sliding door.

    An Infrared sensor is placed in front of the door which gives the signal
    to the control system and hence the control system activates the
    motor to open the door.

    Here one 24VDC Power Supply is used to supply the DC


    power to the motor. Then press the start switch. The DC Motor starts
    rotating.

    The rotary motion of the Motor shaft is converted into linear


    motion of the door by the Leadscrew and nut mechanism. The door is
    connected to the sliding nut unit. . .
