iPhone 6 Plus or Investment?

By Jun Amparo

Daddy, gusto mo bang ibili kita ng iPhone 6 Plus? (Daddy, do you want
me to buy an iPhone 6 plus for you?)
This is the Facebook message I received from my wife a couple of weeks
ago. She had a one week vacation and enjoying her days with her family in
the Philippines.
Wow!
Who doesnt want an iPhone 6 Plus?
I thought this was good idea. After all my Lumia 720 sometimes is
shutting down. I remember when my son Justin had a dance performance
in the auditorium. As parent who want to document every single school
activities, I took my phone to take video.
When I shifted my camera into video setting, it went blacked off!
I tried to turn it off. Then, I opened again. Hoping to catch or glimpse the
last part of my sons performance. No. It didnt work.
I feel frustrated.
Then I remember iPhone 6 Plus.

I asked my wife, Magkano ang iPhone 6 Plus?(How much is the iPhone

6 plus). Mga nasa 42,000 pesos (Its about 42,000 pesos) she said.
I begin to think. Thats a lot of money. I am not sure if I want to buy it or
not.
Its not practical.
But my wife added, Bumili rin si Ivan (my brother-in-law) ng iPhone 6
Plus. (Ivan also bought an iPhone 6 Plus). Gusto mo bang bilhan din
kita? (Do you want me to buy also for you?)
Now, she was trying to convince me. I think my wife likes all the features
and design more than her Samsung mobile.
Then I checked the price here in Thailand.
Its about 30,000 baht only. After comparing the price, it is obviously less
expensive.
However, at the back of my mind keeps telling me it is not practical to buy.
The value of gadgets will soon depreciate. Even if you didnt use it within
two years, right?
After two years of using iPhone 6 Plus, the price will soon be
depreciating. Maybe 20,000-30,000 pesos only.
How about we invest the money? I told my wife. And she agreed.
We put our 36,000 pesos at Emgoldex. This is an online company that
buys and sells gold bars. The company requires us to recruit only two
people to get our reward.
At first, its not easy. We have read and seen news telling us that it is a
scam. ABS-CBN and GMA News (two giant broadcasting network
companies in the Philippines) issued warnings to Filipinos. They even
interviewed people from Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Nobody wants to lose hard-earned money, right?

The other side of my brain reminds me of my brother who got his reward
a few months after he joined at Emgoldex. My sister-in-law including our
co-teacher got their rewards as well.
Risk-taker. This word describes the personality of my wife. Her bold
decision to put our money at online company describes a risk-taking
action.
We chose to invest at Emgoldex rather than buying an iPhone 6 Plus.
Guess what?
After hard work and some sleepless nights, in three weeks time we
managed to exit in the main table of orders! After 14 days of countdown
from the company, we got our reward. 182,000 pesos in just a month!
No kidding!
With this amount of money I will buy three iPhone 6 Plus. (Now, thats
kidding!)
Emgoldex is indeed a good investment vehicle to financial freedom. But
you need to work very hard. Of course there are many investment
opportunities you can try such as stock market, cooperatives, mutual
funds, real estate, bonds/equities, and others. And you can try any of them.
At the end of the day you should consider how your money will work for
you without jeopardizing the dignity of labor. And not you work for money
for the rest of your life. Of course, using our full potentials God has
entrusted us.
My wife was able to send money to her Mom after we got our reward. She
also helped her niece who was in the hospital and paid the bills.
My wife feels good if she is able to help people around her. Im sure you
too!
With this in mind, you will bless others as the Lord blesses you
financially and spiritually.
Now, are you in spending mode or investing? Think about Emgoldex.
God bless you!
