Symptoms of Hypothermia
Change in Mental State.
Fumbling hands
Mumbling and slurred speech
Vigorous Shivering
Cool abdomen, chest, or back
Low core body temparature
Slowed breathing
Unconsciousness

First aid for Hypothermia

Move them into a warm area.
Replace wet clothing to dry clothing and

blankets or other layers.

If the person is shivering, do not attempt to
stop it by applying heat.
Use skin to skin contact.
Provide warm beverages.
