In the first week, our key theoretical term is Genre and

Semiosis. A genre can be referred to as a text type. It also

may be defined as a staged, goal-oriented social process
(Martin 1992, p. 505). Semiosis is described as the
making of meaning (Knees 2010, p.93) and choice or
potential makes meaning. Before we draw the park, we
discussed about the potential of other park that we can
implement to our park. We use central park at New York
as our example to search for the genre we can use to our
park. This first sketch (figure 1) of the park was to create
the feeling to be in touch with nature and to encourage
busy businessman or woman to go jog into our park. We
create lots of path way and jogging track so people could
get into the gazebo at the middle of the lake from any
path near the 4 park gate available. Our park will be built
in the middle of CBD area to balance between working
and relaxing for businessman or woman.
