New fundraising event for Mental Health Association of Miri

Mental Health Association of Miri will play a host to organise a charity on Friday, 21 August
to raise funds for the association at Bintang Megamalls event hall.
The event is running by Dr. Adeline Wong,
the chairman of Mental Health Association
Miri and also her partner, Mr. Haji Noruddin,
one of the coordinator at Mental Health
Association in Miri branch. Together they
have pledged to raise RM10,000 this year for
the association and this will be their first
charity event.
By helping others, we are helping
ourselves, said Dr. Adeline Wong in front of
the public and media reporters.

Mental Health awareness walk down the main street.

The fundraising event is organized to promote and provide treatment, rehabilitation and
support services or facilities for those suffering from mental health problems and their carers.
We would like to invite all the local community members to get involved with and give us
support. We are aim to be the best organisation in promoting mental health services and
enhancing community quality of life, said Mr. Haji Naruddin.
