Watch for the Care Van to be rolling through

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of

Montana has rolled out a van fitted
to provide a travelling immunization
clinic in an effort to better protect
our residents against influenza.
So far, public health nurses
across the state have administered

more than 2,000 shots through the

Care Van and BC/BS believes this
program is just hitting its stride.
The van has a refrigerator, copier
and is able to be used as a portable
clinic to have clients come through
the van for their shot.

It is not necessary to have BC/
BS insurance to use this service;
this program simply offers some
extra tools that make outreach
more feasible for local public health
departments.

Jackson Garrett Pederson, 15 months,
of Glasgow, Montana, returned home to
Heaven on October 6, 2015 while with his
Daddy Ty Pederson and Jazzmin Collins.

Jackson was born in Billings, Montana
on June 26, 2014 weighing a healthy 8lbs 6oz
to Ty Pederson and Amanda Rexhausen
and older brother Kolt. He loved to run
around in his walker and to devour food.
He was very happy, yet an ornery little guy.
He loved to be held and loved on, never
wanting to be put down. He could look at
you with mischief in his big brown eyes
and you would wonder whether he wanted
to bite you or hug you. Jackson and his big
brother, Kolt, were inseparable and adored
one another. Jackson left us too soon with
an emptiness in our hearts, but we are
finding comfort in knowing that he is in
the best hands up in Heaven.

Jackson is survived by his parents Ty
Pederson (Jazzmin Collins) and Amanda
Rexhausen; brother, Kolt; grandparents,
Duke and Marie, Jennifer (Scott), Dave
Spook (Tracie); aunts and uncles, Justin,
Bobby (Micheal, Idella), Taylor; CJ, Sara,
Kaelin; great-grandparents and numerous
great-aunts, uncles and cousins. Jackson
held a very special place in the hearts of his
uncle Doug, auntie Gwen, Nich (Karsyn)

Oregon ranchers declared terrorists and sent back to prison

Source: Oregon Farm Bureau
On Wednesday, October
7th, two Oregon ranchers were
sentenced to five years in federal
prison under terrorism statutes
for setting preventative fires on
their own land. We are gravely
disappointed at this outcome.
Elderly
Harney
County
rancher Dwight Hammond and
his son, Steven, a former OFB
Board member and Harney
County Farm Bureau president,
have already served time in federal
prison for their mistakes and paid
their debt to society for the lessthan-140 acres of BLM land that
was accidentally impacted by the
fires.
This is an example of gross
government overreach, and the
public should be outraged.

Wednesdays
verdict
is
also hypocritical given BLMs
own harm to public and private
grazing lands, which goes without
consequence. It is unjust. OFB
worked on this case quietly behind
the scenes with BLM through the
spring and summer. That diligent
diplomatic effort was fruitless.
This prosecution will have
a chilling effect across the West
among
ranchers,
foresters,
and others who rely on federal
allotments and permits. It will
harm the positive relationship
many ranchers and organizations
have worked to forge with the BLM,
and undermine the cooperative
spirit most ranchers have brought
to the bureau in helping the health
of the range.
Please join Farm Bureau and

declare your support for Steve

and Dwight Hammond. Join over
2,600 other citizens from across
the country and show BLM that
this extreme abuse of power will
not go unnoticed and is shameful.
Sign the petition at:
www.savethehammonds.com.
Federal Double Standards on
Fire Liability:
On one side
you have the US Forest Service
whose prescribed burn got out of
control and burned 11,000 acres,
at least half of which was private
ranch land, and it gets declared
No Liability. On the other side,
you have a ranch family who got
permission to start a prescribed
burn then ended up with jail time
when the fire got out of control
and burned 140 acres of federal
land. How exactly does that work?

How the
fight
started...

Got my son one of those newfangled iPhones for
his birthday, and recently got my daughter an iPod for
hers.
I was totally excited when the family clubbed
together$1,000 and bought me an iPad for my birthday,
even though I aint got it figured out yet.

So then I bought my wife an iRon for her birthday
last week. That is how the fight started. And boy howdy,
can those iRons leave a lump on the noggin.

When I was a little kid, I had this friend that was

An old Italian man in Brooklyn is lying on his

But grandpa, I really dont like guns. How about
you leave me your Rolex watch instead?
You lissina me, boy! Somma day you gonna be
runna da business, you gonna have a beautiful wife, lotsa
money, a big-a home and maybe a couple of bambinos.
Grandfather continues, Somma day you gonna
come-a home and maybe finda you wife inna bed with
another man. Whatta you gonna do then? Pointa to you
watch and say, Times up!?

My Dad has the heart of a lion... and so much hate

Answer: Little Caesars.

The farmer, worried that he cant feed his family,
