STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

A Note From Mr. Holtrops Music Room for 4th and 5th grade parents/guardians: I am excited to announce that this
year, CTAs 4th and 5th grade students will be learning how to play the recorder in music class! This is a great tool for

teaching the basics of music reading and preparing students to be able to play other instruments in the future. Each 4th
and 5th grade student will be given an order form this week that needs to be filled out and returned to either me or the
classroom teacher. Students get to pick which color they would like from the choices on the paper. Each recorder is $3.
Please return the order form along with a check made out to CTA or cash to purchase a recorder. Order forms and money
are due by Tuesday, October 13th. If you have any questions about recorders, please do not hesitate to email me at
jholtrop@ctachargers.org. Thank you again for all of your support of CTAs new music program!
Grades 1-4 Klackle Orchards Field Trip: 1st-4th grade will be going to Klackle Orchards on Thurs., Oct. 29th.
Permission slips went home with your child last week. Please make sure the permission slips are returned by Friday
October 16th. Your child will NOT have to pack a lunch because we will be returning to school by lunch time.
School Bank Interviews: 6th Graders will be interviewing on Wed., Oct. 14 and Fri., Oct. 16.
