Midterm Report Format

Introduction
- Provide a concise description of the project, and illustrate its importance in various
applications.
- State any modifications added to the original project description, and clearly explain
why.
System Architecture Description
- Provide a description of the (high-level) system architecture, including system level
block diagrams, circuit diagrams and flow-charts, if necessary.
- State all the modifications that you have added to the system architecture proposed in
CEG4912 (if this is the case), and clearly explain why.
System Implementation Description
- Provide a concise description of all the hardware components and software modules
that have already been implemented. Also briefly mention any major implementation
problems that you have encountered and how you will go (or have gone) about to
solving them.
- Discuss your current system implementation progress.
Obtained and Expected Results
- Analyze and comment on the currently obtained and/or expected results. Consider both
the functional and performance requirements of the system.
- For the results currently obtained, comment on whether any further improvements are
necessary, explain.
Conclusion and Future Work
- Discuss the current (and expected) contributions for each member of the group.
Also mention, for each member, which tasks have been completed and what remains to
be achieved.
- Provide the project schedule using any chart format (e.g. Gantt charts). Comment on
the successes and failures that contributed to the current advancements or delays of the
project. In case you are currently behind schedule, clearly explain how you will go about
to update your original chart in order to meet the project deadlines.
