How do I apply the message of Imam

Husain (A.S.)
And how do I answer his call?

Muharram is a sad month as

we are mourning for Imam Husain
(A.S.) And his family, so
We dont buy new clothes and do
fun things like celebrate a birthday
or wedding etc.

In Muharram
I also go to the
Mosque with my family.
In the mosque we
listen to marshia,
then to majlis
and then we do maatam.
After that we eat niyaz
of Imam Husain(a.s.).

When I go to school in
Muharram , I talk about
the tragedy of Kerbala .
Then I make an essay about
It and stick it in my
Exercise book.
Sometimes I put it on the
News wall too.
When my non-muslim schoolmates
read it,
They ask me questions about it
Like: has this story really happened?
to which I try to explain the
Whole event and its purpose.
This way I try to tell them
about Islam
Sometimes children dont believe me
But I try my best to convince them
as I feel that is my duty to my
Imams call!

Another way I try to

answer my Imams call
Is with my hijab!
Everyone in school knows me with my
hijab and I do my best
To keep it well . This means
that I cannot take part in certain
Activities like swimming(my favourite sport) as
boys and girls swim together.
This is one of the biggest sacrifices
I have had to make To please
Allah(s.w.t), but it is not as
much as what Imam Husain(a.s.)
Did in Kerbala!

One other thing that I have

learnt from Imam Husain(A.S.)
is praying Salaat And Quran
as he did not give that up
even though he was filled with
arrows on his body he
still said his salaat before
dying
