Note:
The participating schools are cordially invited to take part in Tie-Sheet Lucky Draw to be held on above mentioned date
and time in Gurukul Public School premises.
A school can send at most two teams for participation.
Rules of the Contest
The contest will be conducted in English; in case of difficulty in understanding, contestants can request for Nepali
version.
The contest will be among the team as specified by the tie sheet.
The preliminary contest will have following rounds:

The contestants will get three questions each in all the rounds above.
Direct question should be answered within 30 seconds whereas passed questions should be answered within 10
seconds.
The questions will be asked in clockwise and anti-clockwise basis.
Every direct question carries 10 points and every passed question carries 5 points.
Semi-final & Final competition will have 4 more rounds viz. Audio-Visual Round, Rapid Fire Round, Buzzer &
Participants' Choice Round.
Information and rules regarding different rounds will be declared in the beginning of the round or the contest.
In every preliminary round, the contesting team can choose the question to be asked and the team will be asked the
same question as chosen.
The contesting team should answer the question in their turn only. If answer is given in others turn, up to 10 points can
be deducted from the score of the team.
In case two or more teams' score is same then two additional questions will be asked to each of the team to decide their
position.
Contesting teams can request to repeat the questions in their own turn only but time will be deducted.
The participants should come in full school uniform with ID card escorted by school representative. The team can
accompany five other students as audience.
All decisions regarding competition are in the discretion of the judging committee.
Prizes will be awarded on the final day of the quiz.

Note: Some of the rules regarding the quiz may change as per the circumstance. Topics regarding the question and
sample question will be posted on the Facebook page Be Inspired Nepal.
