Plot
During this book a little boy goes on a field trips to the Empire State Building in New
York. When he is at the top he meets a friendly cloud who takes him to a place called Sector 7.
Sector 7 is where all the clouds are made and so he talk and haves fun with the other clouds.
While doing this the clouds take the shape of animals; then people who make the clouds see this
and send him back the building. The book ends with all the clouds coming to see him as animals.
Setting

The setting is in New York City and in the sky.


Theme
The theme of this book is to always be creative and adventurous.
Characters
There are two characters that are both one dimensional with little change in them and
they are as fallows.
Boy- Is fun loving and adventurous.
Clouds- Happy and fun loving.
Style
This book is in a graphic style with no written text to it just amazing illustrations.
Point of View
The story is from the point view of a narrator.
Reflections
I loved this book which won a Caldecott award for the amazing pictures. I would use this
to get students interested in reading at a low level.
