Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Stacy D. Mueller

DENVER – March 15, 2010 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins),
one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Stacy D.
Mueller has joined its Denver office as an associate. Formerly, Mueller was with Hall & Evans, L.L.C.
in Denver.

In her practice, Mueller focuses on representing employers in the areas of employment law and
litigation, including class action defense. She has extensive experience defending nationwide and
statewide class action lawsuits, including pattern and practice lawsuits brought by the EEOC. Mueller
also defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and violation of wage
and hour laws, and has handled matters involving enforcement of non-compete agreements and the
protection of trade secrets. Beyond her litigation experience, Mueller proactively counsels employers
regarding human resources issues, personnel policies, and wage and hour compliance.

Mueller is active in her professional community as a member of the American Bar Association,
Colorado Bar Association, and Denver Bar Association.

Mueller earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2002, and a B.A., cum laude,
from Georgetown University in 1995.
