Ethical Decision
Every second of of our lives we make ethical decisions to decide everything.
For example, picking out what to wear for the day. Either we dont care what we
look like, or we do care what we look like so we spend a good amount of time
picking out cute clothes to wear for the day. One of my important decisions Ive in
life was when person I just met dropped their wallet and I returned it back to her.
One day, I was walking with my family downtown, and we were walking
behind a group that were walking really fast. We ended up walking in the same
direction as them, which was a coincidence. We walked all over downtown and
started talking to them which made us become really good friends with them. We
talked and talked for hours and we then went to dinner at the Gold Dust Saloon. It
was fun making new friends. Afterwards, we went out and started we left the Gold
Dust and started walking around once again. After a few minutes passed, we had
to cross the street. After the sign said Go, we ran across the street to the other
side. Once we crossed, I noticed our new friend dropped her wallet when we
crossed the street. I saw it laying in the street, so before the light turned green i
retrieved her wallet. I returned it back to her, which made her very happy and
grateful. Seeing her smile made me smile also.
In conclusion, my ethical decision was important because it affected the
person in a good way. My decision was either to leave the wallet in the street, or
go and quickly get the wallet. Getting the wallet made her happy which also made
me happy too.
