Should the government make laws prohibiting smoking in all public places?
There are important investigations that show that more than
50 thousand people per year die from health problems caused by
second-hand smoke. There is a huge publicity against cigarettes around
the world, for example in the cigarette boxes phrases like smoking
produces cancer are printed, but what happen to people that are
exposed to passive smoking?, why there are not printed the
consequences that a cigarette can indirectly cause to another person?.
Second-hand smoke diseases must be no longer hidden and
disregarded, the government must prohibit smoking in all public places
because second-hand smoke causes health effects in children and
adults, stimulates children to use cigarettes and other drugs and
provokes a lack of respect equilibrium between citizens.
