SAP - Create Deliveries in backgroundFor companies with large volumes of shipments, it is common for them to schedule nightly

background jobs to create deliveries, rather than having it done manually by the users. The steps
below explain how this is setup.

Setting up the background Job

1. Go to transaction VL10BATCH.
2. Click Create Variant, and enter a variant name
3. Hit Create again
4. Here you can select which screens you want preset. If youre unsure, select For All
Selection Screens. This will allow you to cycle through each screen and pre-set the
necessary fields. Hit Enter
5. I would like the background job to process all deliveries in shipping point 1000. I set this
field and hit next

6. The most important fields to change are on screen 7 of 8. Set the following:
1. Role = 5001
2. Uncheck Use List Profile
3. F code profile = 5001

7. When youre done, hit the back button and it will prompt you to save.
8. In the Variant Attributes screen, enter a description for your variant

9. Save

Schedule Job
You can schedule your job to run periodically (i.e. every night). Click on the Schedule button to
define these times. Once it has been set, you can use transaction SM37 to ensure that these jobs
have been properly scheduled.

Result:
The delivery is created. You can verify this in your document flow.

The program assigned to Ek00 is RVADEK01.

Point---Define Shipping Point--Choose your shipping Point ---Maintain following settings

Transaction VP01SHP

Create your entries with your shipping point

Now Create your Delivery and save it without putting picking Qty,you should get your
picking Qty automatically .

Basically you are doing automatic picking using output condition technique.
