TPD ended September 2015 with a 23% increase in Index Offenses compared to last year.
Property crime increased by 1% and violent crime increased by 22%.

1 (2014) homicide was reported compared to 0 (2015), resulting in a decrease of


-100%.

21 (2014) robberies were reported compared to 24 (2015), resulting in an increase of


14%.

5 (2014) rapes were reported compared to 3 (2015), resulting in a decrease of -40%.

45 (2014) aggravated assaults were reported compared to 61 (2015), resulting in an


increase of 36%.

Overall burglary was down -3%, with 214 reported in 2014 compared to 207 in 2015.
There was an increase of 3% in residential burglaries with 141 in reported in 2014
compared to 145 in 2015. There was a decrease of -20% in non-residential burglaries
with 25 in 2014 compared to 20 in 2015. There was a decrease of -13% in commercial
cases with 48 reported in 2014 compared to 42 in 2015.

54 (2014) vehicle thefts were reported compared to 28 (2015), resulting in an decrease


of -48%

Larceny cases increased by 6 %, with 581 reported in 2014 compared to 618 in 2015.
