Micheal
Woodford

How they got caught?

Trustable friend of Woodford handed him the FACTA article which

revealed the for major issues

Ordered from PWC to audit and investigate the case

Confronted the boards and announced the unfavourable report.

Woodford got fired, blew the whistle for the fraud.

Stakeholders
1.Tsuyoshi Kikukawa -The board chairman
2.Micheal Woodford- (COO,CEO The whistle blower)
3.Hideo Yamada and Hisashi Mori-They were the master minds behind the
fraudulent schemes
4.Shareholders of the company
5.Dealers of the company
6.Customers and owners of Olympus

Suggestions

Woodfort should show them the PWC reports and threaten them to do
something about the case.

Olympus should first either get Woodfort back or get a new CEO and
restructure the organization with removing the unrelated businesses
and concentrate on the core business.

The organization is should try to balance Theory E and Theory O

through giving decisions to even bottom rather than just the top
management by changing the consensus culture.

THANK YOU !!!
