    Student Led
    Celebration
    Term 1 2010
    In Reading I am learning to
    make connections.

    I do this by Reading the story


    then thinking and comparing
    what I already know with
    what I have read.
    In Numeracy I am working at
    Stage 5/6.
    I am really proud of my
    improvements in graphing data
    because I have used Excel to
    graph my data and I had no
    idea how to do it before!
    In Religious Education I am
    Learning about the life of
    Jesus.
    In my life this means I will
    show how I am learning to
    manage myself because I
    am a friend of Jesus when I
    am strong and turn away
    from doing the wrong
    thing.
    In Writing I am working at
    Level 2.

    I am most proud of my
    improvements in descriptive
    words because I have
    improved and this makes the
    reader want to read on.
    In my learning I am most
    proud of my blog because I
    didn’t know most of the
    things I have been taught
    and now I know how to use
    a blog.
    Some of the tools I use
    to help me in my
    learning are taking partners,
    computers, working in groups
    and success criteria.
    Computers help me to get
    information from others and
    from people around the world.
    Some of the new
    opportunities I have taken
    on in my class and school
    are patrol, office,
    messenger, Young Vinnies,
    touch, tidy kiwis, other Y6
    responsibilities, swimming
    sports and Y5-6 triathlon.
    I show that I am following
    Jesus’ example of Love as a
    SUPER Achiever when I Show
    self-control by speaking and
    acting kindly. I do this by
    showing good sportsmanship
    when I come 1st 2nd or 3rd in my
    sport.
