DMR-800 - Installation and Hardware Guide

Mate the connectors correctly before applying power, and connect the battery ground
connection at the same time or before applying power. This is especially true when using
the RS232 lines along with power and ground.
After powering on the terminal, the ERR LED (Figure 18) comes on for 5 seconds and
the STAT LED flashes. This means that the DMR is correctly executing its start-up selftest sequence.
After about 5 seconds, the ERR LED will turn off and the STAT LED continues flashing
at different rates. If the ERR LED remains on, the DMR is not functioning correctly. For
a complete description of the LED operation, refer to [T8].
Note: The DMR-800D C1D2 does not have any LEDs.

Activating the Terminal


To activate the terminal, refer to [R1] for detailed instructions.

Cleaning Instructions
Steam clean or pressure wash the non-OEM models, with mild soaps or detergents.
Properly protect the side-mount terminal version with waterproof sealing tape and
securely fasten it in place.
