Requirements
The client required a ZigBee-enabled thermostat as part of a Home Area
Networking solution, which would give utility companies access to live
and historical data in order to provide demand response solutions.
The SoftDEL Solution
Understood the ZigBee protocol and related smart energy
specifications.
Designed and implemented ZigBee based applications on the
embedded RTOS.
Designed and implemented a communication interface between the
host Renesas microcontroller and network co-processor chip using
EZSP-SPI communication protocol.
Carried out testing for the thermostat and the ZigBee interface to
prepare for ZigBee certification.
