"Walking ancient paths: Israel study tour"

May 5-19, 2016

What's Your Story?
We invite you to journey with us down ancient paths in the land of the
Bible! We will look at the stories of Abraham and Moses as we hike
through the wilderness. Davids encounter with Goliath will come to life
as we stand in the Elah Valley. Elijahs confrontation with Ahab and the
prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel will challenge and encourage us. We will
study the life of Jesus as we walk along the Sea of Galilee, visit the Jordan
River, and explore the streets of Jerusalem. While we study Scripture in
light of the language, culture, and geography of the land of Israel, each
site will hold powerful insights into the stories of those who have gone
before us. Each of these stories took place as a part of Gods amazing
story - and so does yours! As we hike, study, and explore together, we will
work hard to ask good questions. What is your story? How will you live
today? What legacy will you leave behind? How does your story fit into
to bigger story of Gods amazing plan for his people and for the world?

Post are currently
in their seventh
year of college
ministry at Grand
Valley State University
through
Campus Ministry @ GVSU. Over the last 10 years, Ben and Stacie have traveled several times to Israel/Palestine, including the
amazing experience of living and studying in Jerusalem from
2006-2008. Ben and Stacie both completed an MA in Biblical
History and Geography at Jerusalem University College in 2008,
and Ben completed his MDiv at Western Theological Seminary
in 2012. All of these experiences have grown in them a love
for the history, land, language, and cultural context of the Bible. Ben and Stacie live in Holland, MI with their son, Jaden.
