Emotional Domain
A major part of the emotional domain of wellness is relationships and
sexuality. Family relationships can be very important. A family is a group of
people that focus on caring and loving one another. Friendships are also
important. They are usually the first relationships we form outside of our
family. Also, understanding oneself is a big one. Relating to yourself means to
have a positive outlook on yourself and it helps one understand others as
well (pg 30-31).

Social Domain
Social health encompasses participation in activities with others, carrying
out ones usual roles and responsibilities, and relationships and connections
with important others. These include the ability to relate to individuals,
groups, communities and society as a whole.

Intellectual Domain
Being intellectual is the ability to open our minds to new ideas and
experiences that can be applied to personal decisions, group interaction and
community betterment. The desire to learn new concepts, improve skills and
seek challenges in pursuit of lifelong learning contributes to our Intellectual
Wellness.

Environmental Domain
The result of humans living on this planet can be their impact on other
species, their impact on the food supply, the land degradation and
contamination of drinking water, and their impact on energy consumption.
(pg 114).
When thinking of all of the horrible things that pollute our planet everyday, it
does make one wonder when will it be too much? The population is growing
and people are living longer. Cities are overcrowded and it is becoming a
problem. Our air isnt as clean as it once was, and at this rate it is only
getting worse. We all need to take action and do things to benefit the
environment, not hurt it. It is hard for one to be completely green, but if we
reduce using pollutants and conserve water we could make a little difference,
not immediately, but it would be a difference.

Spiritual Wellness is the ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives.
The ability to develop congruency between values and actions and to realize
a common purpose that binds creation together contributes to our Spiritual
Wellness. Christianity is one of the most well known religions in the US,
although there is many different religions that have been here since our
country began and new religions and beliefs being formed everyday.
