Environmental

problems

are

situations

caused

by

the

processes

of

modernization, as well as various types of activities such as: social, political,

economic, human and cultural that transform our environment with negative
damage to the environment, economy and society. Environmental problems do
not only occur in a single region or part of the planet, this phenomenon is at the
global level with alarming levels of pollution to the environment in general.
Being the main causes the production of greenhouse gases product of the
industries that in turn this causes an imbalance in the atmosphere, causing the
loss of the ozone layer, as also the great release of carbon dioxide by the fossil
fuels that are occupied by the means of transport, causing the process known
as "greenhouse effect".

Having a major impact on the environment as:

destruction of the ozone layer, acid rain, desertification, extinction of animal and
plant species, global warming. But the most damaging effects and serious
caused by mankind are for natural resources such as water, air, soil.
