Komponentes Outreach Programme brings to you a workshop on Getting Started with
Arduino and Sensors. Arduino is an Open-source electronic prototyping platform allowing to
create interactive electronic objects. In the recent past, Arduinos have been used extensively used for various applications related to the rapidly growing fields like Internet of Things. Besides its become an essential skill in the fields of electronics and computer science. The content for this workshop has been meticulously planned so that the participants get a clear picture of the hardware, with emphasis on fundamentals and technical details behind interfacing various sensors and shields with the microcontroller. The key take away from the workshop would be a strong grasp over the essential concepts in using an Arduino that would help the participants to build any project at a later stage and also inspire the makers in them. Fundamentals of Arduino and getting familiar with coding in Arduino IDE. Interfacing Accelerometer & Gyro with an Arduino to control motors using gestures. Interfacing commonly used Temperature and Ultrasonic Sensors and display sensor data on a LCD Module. Interfacing LCD Module with an Arduino to display different kinds of data.
