Philippinesin1961witharepresentativeoffice.
Sincethen,weexpandedourpresenceintoafully
integratedfranchise,comprisedofInvestment
Banking,TreasuryServices,Markets,Investor
ServicesaswellastheGlobalServiceCenter.We
haveanumberoflegalentitiesoperatinginthe
country,includingtheManilabranchofthebank,
whichhasacommercialbankinglicenseaswellas
aderivativeslicense,andasecuritiescompany
withaseatonthePhilippineStockExchange.

In2005,welaunchedtheGlobalServiceCenter(GSC)inManilatoprovideawidevarietyofstrategic
supporttotheConsumer&CommunityBankingandtheCorporate&InvestmentBanklinesofbusiness.
Wecurrentlyoccupynearly1MMsquarefeetofrealestateacrossfourbuildings,twocities(MetroManila
andCebu)with10,300seatsandprovidingemploymentformorethan13,000Filipinos.
Throughouttheyears,ourcontributiontoeconomicdevelopmentandemploymenthasgathered
recognitionfromvariousorganizations,mostrecentlythe2013ApolinarioMabiniAwardforEmployerof
theYearandGoldawardforDisabledFriendlyEstablishmentoftheYearfromthePhilippineFoundation
fortheRehabilitationoftheDisabled,Inc.
